The St. Louis Blues wing quietly leads them in goals (nine) playing mostly on the top line with center Robert Thomas and wing Pavel Buchnevich. Neighbours has multiple shots on goal in five straight games totaling 17 in the span.

Dawson Mercer, C/RW, NJD
32 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The New Jersey Devils forward is playing on the top line with elite center Jack Hughes and wing Tyler Toffoli and showing signs of a bouncing back with a four-game point streak totaling six points (three goals, three assists) in the span.

Anthony Beauvillier, LW/RW, CHI
6 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The Chicago Blackhawks wing, acquired from the Vancouver Canucks on Nov. 29, saw time on the first line with elite rookie Connor Bedard in his debut against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday and had two shots on goal in 16:55 (1:20 on power play).

Mason Marchment, LW, DAL
5 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The Dallas Stars wing has nine points (four goals, five assists), including four multipoint games, in his past seven games skating on the second line with forwards Matt Duchene and Tyler Seguin.

Anders Lee, LW, NYI
23 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The New York Islanders wing has points in six of his past eight games (four goals, two assists) skating mostly on the top line with forwards Mathew Barzal (leads them with 23 points in 22 games) and Bo Horvat (18 points in 22 games) and also the first power play with defenseman Noah Dobson. Lee also provides strong hits coverage (32 in 23 games).

Jonny Brodzinski, C, NYR
1 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The New York Rangers forward, recalled after the injury to Kaapo Kakko (lower body; long-term injured reserve), has consecutive two-assist games and is seeing time in the top six with high-scoring forwards Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider. Brodzinski leads the American Hockey League in points per game (1.56; 25 in 16 games; minimum 10 games) playing for Hartford.



Simon Nemec, NJD
15 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The Devils rookie had two assists, one on the power play, in his NHL debut against the San Jose Sharks on Friday and led their defensemen playing 22:38. With Dougie Hamilton (torn pectoral muscle) out indefinitely, Nemec was recalled from Utica of the American Hockey League and gives New Jersey, led by Luke Hughes, the best 1-2 rookie defensemen punch.

Jake Walman, DET
29 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The Detroit Red Wings defenseman has had consecutive multipoint games and plays on the top pair with Moritz Seider. Walman is having a breakout season with 12 points (four on power play) in 21 games, leads the Red Wings with a plus-11 and could benefit from the Red Wings signing veteran forward Patrick Kane to a one-year contract.



Pyotr Kochetkov, CAR
42 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The Hurricanes goalie has started four straight games (3-0-1 in span), taking control of the starting job over teammate Antti Raanta with Frederik Andersen (blood clotting issue) still out. Kochetkov is 4-1-1 with a 2.26 goals-against average and one shutout over his past seven games.

Alex Lyon, DET
27 percent rostered in Yahoo Fantasy

The Red Wings goalie is 3-1-0 with an NHL-best .958 save percentage this season, pushing Ville Husso for starts and passing James Reimer on the depth chart. Lyon was 9-4-2 with a .914 save percentage and one shutout in 15 games for the Florida Panthers last season to help them qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
