Player to watch for point, goal and/or assist: Jimmy Snuggerud, F, STL (vs. PIT; 9:30 p.m. ET; SN-PIT, ESPN, TVAS)

The St. Louis Blues wing has 46 points (19 goals, 27 assists) and eight power-play points in 68 games this season, including seven points (two goals, five assists) and 18 shots on goal over his past five games. Snuggerud, who has found chemistry on the first line and first power play with Robert Thomas (26 points in past 20 games) and Dylan Holloway (29 points in past 23 games), has 22 points (nine goals, 13 assists) in his past 21 games. The 21-year-old leads all rookies in points (31 in 29 games), goals (12), assists (19), even-strength goals (11), even-strength points (28) and plus/minus (plus-20) since Jan. 24. Per NHL EDGE stats, Snuggerud ranks highly among forwards in hardest shot (95.56 mph; 97th percentile), average shot speed (60.22; 91st percentile), midrange SOG (71; 92nd percentile) and midrange goals (nine; 87th percentile). -- Chris Meaney

The Anaheim Ducks center has NHL career highs in goals (29; second on team), points (62; second), assists (37; third), power-play points (17; tied for second), even-strength goals (23; second), shots on goal (180; third) and time on ice per game (19:08) in 68 games this season. Carlsson leads the Ducks in points per game (0.97) this season and ranks first in points (22 in 24 games), even-strength points (17) and SOG (73) and is tied for first in even-strength goals (10) since the 2026 Winter Olympics (Feb. 25). The 21-year-old has found chemistry on the first line with Troy Terry (12 points in past 14 games) and Chris Kreider (20 points in past 24 games) and first power play with John Carlson (12 points in 14 games with Ducks), Beckett Sennecke (60 points; second among rookies), Mikael Granlund and Terry. Per NHL EDGE stats, Carlsson ranks highly among forwards in midrange goals (12; 95th percentile), high-danger goals (16; 92nd percentile), midrange SOG (77; 94th percentile), high-danger SOG (59; 84th percentile), long-range SOG (15; 83rd percentile), 20-plus mph speed bursts (190; 94th percentile) and total skating distance (233.73 miles; 92nd percentile). -- Meaney

Player to watch for point, assist and/or power-play point: Lane Hutson, D, MTL (at PHI; 7 p.m. ET; NBCSP, TSN2, RDS)

The Montreal Canadiens defenseman, who has played in each of their 81 games this season, ranks among the leaders at his position in even-strength points (58; second), points (78; third), assists (66; third), multipoint games (20; tied for fourth) and on-ice even-strength goal differential (plus-37; tied for fourth). Hutson enters Tuesday tied with Larry Robinson (66 in 1976-77) for the most assists by a Canadiens defenseman in a single season and is two points shy of joining Robinson (twice) as the second Canadiens defenseman ever to have 80 points in one season. Hutson, who has 19 points (two goals, 17 assists) in 22 games since March 1, is already the only defenseman in franchise history to have at least 50 even-strength points and 20 power-play points in the same season. Per NHL EDGE stats, Hutson is sixth in the entire NHL in total skating distance (291.31 miles) and ranks in the 92nd percentile or higher among defenseman in max skating speed, 20-plus mph speed bursts, high-danger shots on goal, midrange shots on goal, high-danger goals, midrange goals and offensive zone time percentage. The Philadelphia Flyers have allowed eight power-play goals over their past eight games and rank 23rd out of 32 teams in penalty kill percentage (77.3) this season. -- Troy Perlowitz

Player to watch for goal, assist and/or point: James Hagens, F, BOS (vs. NJD; 7 p.m. ET; NESN, MSG, SNP, TVAS)

The Boston Bruins' top prospect made his NHL debut at the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sunday and had one assist and one shot on goal in 13:08. Hagens, who was the No. 7 pick in the 2025 NHL Draft, was in the top-nine forward group for Boston and played mostly on a line with Fraser Minten (17 goals this season) and Marat Khusnutdinov (15 goals). Per NHL EDGE stats, Hagens' only shot on goal came from midrange, and he ranks highly among forwards in offensive zone starts percentage (40 percent; 84th percentile) and average shot speed (56.47 mph; 79th percentile; League average: 53.19). The Bruins have scored seven goals in two games against the New Jersey Devils this season. -- Pete Jensen
