Player to watch for goal: Robby Fabbri, F, DET (at MTL) -- The Detroit Red Wings forward has had points in four of his past five games with seven points (five goals, two assists) in the span. Fabbri is playing in a secondary role for the Red Wings, who rank fourth in the NHL in goals per game (3.68) this season. Detroit visits the Montreal Canadiens, who are allowing the ninth-most goals per game in the NHL (3.48).
Player to watch for assist: Adam Larsson, D, SEA (at OTT) -- The Seattle Kraken defenseman has had points in four of his past five games with four points (one goal, three assists) in the span. Larsson has had multiple shots on goal in three of his past four games and plays on the top pair with Vince Dunn (19 points in 24 games). Seattle visits the Ottawa Senators, who will be playing the second of back-to-back games.
Player to watch for point: Michael Amadio, F, VGK (vs. WSH) -- The Vegas Golden Knights forward is on a three-game point streak with four points (one goal, three assists) in the span. Amadio has sneaky upside on the third line with center Chandler Stephenson and also sees secondary power-play time on a unit with center William Karlsson, who leads Vegas in goals (11).
Player to watch for shots on goal: Torey Krug, D, STL (at ARI) -- The St. Louis Blues defenseman is in the midst of a bounce-back stretch with 10 points (one goal, nine assists), three on the power play, and 34 shots on goal over his past 12 games. Krug, who plays on the first power play with forwards Robert Thomas, Pavel Buchnevich, Brayden Schenn and Jake Neighbours, has had multiple shots on goal in eight of his past 12 games, including a pair of six-SOG games in that span.
