Judd Sirott is in his first season as a play-by-play voice for Bruins games on NESN following seven seasons as the radio play-by-play announcer of the team on 98.5 The Sports Hub from 2017-2024. Sirott brings a wealth of hockey and broadcasting experience to the booth, honored twice (2018 and 2023) for "Best Sports Play-By-Play" by the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association.

Sirott came to Boston after an award-winning nine-year stint (2008-17) as the studio host for the Chicago Blackhawks on WGN-AM. Additionally, he spent six seasons (2009-2014) with the Chicago Cubs as a radio play-by-play announcer and host on WGN-AM, while working as a correspondent for the MLB Network. Sirott has called NHL games nationally for HDNet (now AXS TV) and the NHL Network from 2006 to 2009.

A native of Arlington Heights, Ill., Sirott began broadcasting professional hockey with a 12-year run as the play-by-play voice and media relations director of the American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves from the team's inception in 1994. Sirott called the franchise's Turner Cup titles in 1998 and 2000, along with its first Calder Cup championship in 2002. Sirott also worked for three years as a weekend host, field reporter, and executive producer at 670 The Score from the station's founding in 1992. A 1991 graduate of the University of Michigan, where he broadcast hockey and football as a student, Sirott started his Chicago media career as a weekend producer at WGN-AM.

Andy Brickley
Television Color Commentary, New England Sports Network (NESN)
Andy Brickley is in his 17th season of color commentary on the Bruins television airwaves following one season of Bruins commentary for WBZ radio. Following a college hockey career at the University of New Hampshire, he played 14 seasons at both the National Hockey League and minor league levels, including four seasons in a Bruins uniform from 1988-92. He was a member of IHL Turner Cup championship teams with both Denver in 1994-95 and Utah in 1995-96. He retired with NHL career totals of 82 goals and 140 assists for 222 points in 385 NHL games with Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Boston and Winnipeg. He has also worked with national rightsholders as both a color analyst and reporter during their NHL coverage and has worked on AHL, IHL and college hockey broadcasts in addition to four World Junior Championship tournaments. A native of Melrose, MA, he is a member of both the Melrose High School and University of New Hampshire Halls of Fame.

Ryan Johnston

Ryan Johnston is in his first season as play-by-play voice for Bruins games 98.5 The Sports Hub.

The sports radio veteran has been with The Sports Hub since 2009, serving as the Play-By-Play Fill-In on 98.5 and The Boston Bruins Radio Network since 2010. Johnston was the main host of the station’s Saturday morning “Sports Hub Hockey Show” from 2012-2024.

A graduate of Syracuse University, Johnston has spent much of his career in Sports Broadcasting. He called Boston College hockey on the Sports Hub for two seasons, while also handling the Play-by-Play duties for the Beanpot tournament and the Hockey East semifinal and championship games that were carried on the station. He also previously spent nine seasons as the voice for The Lowell Lock Monsters and Lowell Devils AHL franchises.

Johnston has also done freelance college hockey play-by-play, calling games for UMass Lowell, Merrimack College and The University of New Hampshire on NESN, ESPN+ and Fox Sports.

He is a past recipient of the Massachusetts /Rhode Island Associated Press Award for Best Play-By-Play.

Bob Beers
Radio Color Commentary, 98.5 The Sports Hub
Bob Beers enters his 28th season as action analyst on Bruins radio. He came to the broadcast booth following an eight-year professional career as a defenseman in the NHL and with minor league affiliates.

Drafted by Boston as their tenth pick, 210th overall, in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft, he played three-plus seasons with the Bruins organization before moving to NHL stops in Tampa Bay, Edmonton and the NY Islanders for four seasons.

He returned to the Bruins for the 1996-97 season before retiring as a full-time player in August, 1997. He also played parts of two seasons with the Bruins' AHL affiliate in Providence as his radio schedule allowed in both 1998-99 and 1999-2000.

Beers is a regular contributor on NBC Sports Boston and WBZ-TV, and has also worked with NHL Radio and national television broadcasts during the playoffs.
