With the NHL season still on pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Detroit Red Wings wanted to offer their fans some additional flexibility with an updated ticket policy for games that were postponed.

Fans who bought tickets through the team for the final four home games in March and April can elect to keep the credits in their account to be used when Red Wings games resume at Little Caesars Arena.

Alternatively, people can contact a service representative for a refund on those tickets.

In addition, Winged Wheel Nation members who have already renewed their season tickets for the 2020-21 season will have access to a couple of exciting options.

Those Winged Wheel Nation members can also opt to keep the credits from the postponed March and April games in their account.

As a special thank you for their loyalty, members will receive a 30-percent bonus credit in their account, based on the value of the original purchase.

The 30-percent bonus credit is among the best benefits in the NHL.

The team is also taking it a step further by offering those Winged Wheel Nation members the opportunity to enjoy the following three on-ice and behind-the-scenes experiences:

* Post-game skate on the Little Caesars Arena main ice, including a shot on goal and photo;

* Virtual Q&A with Red Wings Executive Vice President and General Manager Steve Yzerman before the NHL Entry Draft;

* Their name inscribed on the Little Caesars Arena ice prior to the 2020-21 season home opener.

If Winged Wheel Nation members prefer, they can also contact their dedicated service representative for a refund on tickets from those postponed March and April games.

Tickets purchased through a resale site (e.g. StubHub, Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster Exchange, etc.) remain subject to that site's policy and fans should contact that site's customer service department for assistance.
