It may have been only four days since he left, but Brayden Schenn and the St. Louis Blues are taking a trip down memory lane.

On Tuesday — in his first game back in St. Louis since he was traded to the New York Islanders on Friday — the memories came flooding back for the three-time All-Star and Blues fans alike.

The team honored their former captain with a tribute video as Schenn watched from the bench. He then took a lap around the ice at Enterprise Center as the crowd cheered him on.

St. Louis traded Shenn to the Islanders at Friday’s trade deadline for 2026 first and third round draft picks, as well as veteran forward Jonathan Drouin and goalie prospect Marcus Gidlof.

Schenn seemingly did it all in his nine seasons with the St. Louis Blues: serving as the team’s captain, celebrating his 1,000th NHL game, and — of course — winning the 2019 Stanley Cup.

Throughout his career, Shenn has recorded 239 points (90 goals, 149 points) in 329 games at Enterprise Center, seventh in the history of the arena.
