VAN@COL: Jokić takes in tonight's Avalanche game

Colorado Avalanche fans weren’t joking around with their chants on Tuesday.

Nikola Jokic and his family watched the Avalanche's game against the Vancouver Canucks at Ball Arena.

The two-time NBA MVP sat rink side with his daughter, Ognjena, on his lap.

The “MVP” chants raining down from the crowd were not for the Avalanche’s center Nathan MacKinnon, but instead for the Denver Nuggets’ center.

Jokic smiled and clapped as the crowd chanted and gave him a standing ovation.

The Nuggets star is the current MVP favorite in the NBA, averaging 26.1 points and 12 rebounds this season.

Denver might be looking at two MVP awards this season if MacKinnon has anything to say about it.
