Lundqvist meets fan wearing jersey during ski trip

When it comes to superlatives, this New York Rangers fan might have gotten the best one.

From a Hockey Hall-of-Famer, no less.

During a skiing trip on Saturday, Rangers legendary goalie Henrik Lundqvist spotted a fan on the slopes wearing his jersey. Naturally, he had to say hello. In a video posted on his Instagram story, Lundqvist gave the fan the title of “best dressed” in Austria.

In the video, Lundqvist approaches the fan, who immediately gets up from the snow to greet The King.

“What a pleasure this is,” said the fan. “Biggest fan. Nice to meet you.”

Lundqvist shakes hands with the fan, then comments on his jersey.

“Representing,” Lundqvist said. “I love it.”

The two then pose for a photo to commemorate the moment.

Guess you never know when wearing your Lundqvist jersey will pay off.
