Ducks with Donald and Daisy Duck at Disney

In case Disneyland doesn’t have enough ducks running around on a normal day, the Anaheim Ducks stopped by the theme park to celebrate “Anaheim Ducks Day” on Friday.

Players, dressed in their hockey jerseys, spent the day at the park to participate in different activities with fans – including a meet-and-greet – as well as a parade in the middle of the park in the afternoon.

The Ducks were joined by none other than Donald and Daisy Duck during the parade, to keep with the theme of the day.

At a special “Fan Zone” set up in Hollywood Land at the park, fans had a chance to show off their hockey skills in front of the players, as well as getting photos and autographs with the guys.

The team’s connection with Disney runs deep, as it was The Walt Disney Company that founded the team in 1993, inspired by the hit 1992 movie, “The Mighty Ducks.”
