As Washington captain closes in on record, home arena gives fans special offering

Alex Ovechkin has twisted more than a few goalies into a pretzel during his pursuit of the NHL career goals record. Now Capital One Arena is returning the favor.

The home of the Washington Capitals is offering a special snack as Ovechkin chases Wayne Gretzky's mark of 894 goals.

The "Ovi 8 pretzel" comes in the shape of the Capitals captain's jersey number, with two dips hosted inside the eight -- Old Bay crab and spicy cheese dip.

The snack also comes with a souvenir popcorn bucket featuring the "GR8 Chase" logo and the logo commemorating the franchise's 50th season.
