Devils arrivals split

The New Jersey Devils celebrated Autism Acceptance night on Monday at Prudential Center before their game against the Minnesota Wild.

During arrivals, players walked in with young fans who are part of the autistic community. The team partnered with the nonprofit corporation Nassan’s Place to bring the fans to the arena.

Nassan’s Place helps children and families affected by autism in underserved communities by providing educational and recreational programs, social outings and resources.

The Devils also welcomed 14-year-old Brody Shinderman to The Rock to sing the U.S. national anthem.

Shinderman is also a member of the autistic community and has performed the national anthem at various New York and New Jersey sporting events, including last year’s Autism Acceptance night at Prudential Center.
