Potential win: Winnipeg Jets (at VAN)

Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck is not only the front-runner for the Vezina Trophy (won it last season) but also a Hart Trophy candidate this season; he leads the NHL in wins (39), goals-against average (1.99; minimum 15 games), save percentage (.927) and shutouts (six) and ranks second in saves (1,291) behind Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Tampa Bay Lightning (1,339). Winnipeg (47-17-4; 98 points in 68 games) is in a tight race with the Washington Capitals for the Presidents' Trophy (44-15-8; 96 points in 67 games) and visits the Vancouver Canucks, whom they defeated a 6-1 at home Jan. 14 (Hellebuyck stopped 23 of 24 shots faced in the victory). Vancouver has lost three of its past four home games. Per NHL EDGE stats, Hellebuyck ranks in the top five in high-danger save percentage (.848; fourth), midrange save percentage (.915; fifth) and leads the League in goal differential (plus-78). -- Pete Jensen

Chance at fewest goals allowed: Dallas Stars (vs. ANA)

The Dallas Stars have allowed the fifth-fewest goals per game (2.62) this season and fourth fewest at home (2.31). The Stars are tied with the Carolina Hurricanes for the best penalty kill percentage (84.5) in the NHL and have the best mark at home (88.0). The Anaheim Ducks have the second-worst power-play percentage (12.9) this season and worst on the road (12.0). They rank 29th in goals per game (2.63) and have scored two or fewer goals in four of their past five road games. Dallas goalie Jake Oettinger is 20-6-1 at home with a 2.17 goals-against average and .918 save percentage (compared to 10-9-2, 3.04 goals-against average, .893 save percentage on road). Per NHL EDGE stats, Oettinger is second in long-range save percentage (.991) and long-range saves (321), fourth in goal differential (37) and sixth in games with greater than a .900 save percentage (28). -- Chris Meaney

Chance at most saves: New York Rangers (vs. CGY)

The New York Rangers have three shutouts in their past nine games since the beginning of March, tied with the Vegas Golden Knights and Florida Panthers for the most in the League over that span. Igor Shesterkin (five) and Jonathan Quick (three) are the first Rangers goalies with at least three shutouts each in the same season since Henrik Lundqvist and Cam Talbot (five each) in 2014-15. Despite ranking 20th in points percentage (.529) this season, the Rangers are tied for ninth in team save percentage (.900) and tied for first in shutouts (eight). The Rangers are 8-2-0 in their past 10 home games against the Calgary Flames, including a 2-0 shutout in their only meeting at Madison Square Garden last season (Feb. 12, 2024). Per NHL EDGE stats, Shesterkin ranks first in high-danger saves (334) and third in midrange saves (358) this season. The Flames have the second-lowest 5-on-5 shooting percentage since the 4 Nations Face-Off (6.3 over past 11 games). -- Troy Perlowitz
