Cobo Center parking garage temporarily closed

DETROIT -Due to a private event, the Cobo Center Parking Garage will be closed to Red Wings fans and colleagues for the team's home games on Thursday, Dec. 15 against the Los Angeles Kings at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 17 against the Anaheim Ducks at 7:00 p.m. Fans attempting to walk through Cobo Center will be directed by Olympia Entertainment security personnel to access Joe Louis Arena via Atwater Street and enter The Joe through the East Entrance.
Red Wings fans can utilize the Joe Louis Arena Parking Garage (900 W. Jefferson) and the Congress Street Parking Garage (432 Congress St.) for the Red Wings games on Thursday and Saturday. Additionally, Red Wings fans can access Joe Louis Arena via the Detroit People Mover.
The following area bars also offer a park and shuttle service for Red Wings home games:
