Prospect Spotlight

Jack Devine

Couldn’t ask for a better start to a pro career than what Devine has done through 13 games in his first full season in the AHL.

On top of the stat sheet for the Charlotte Checkers, the 2022 seventh-round pick (221st overall) leads the team in points (12) and game-winning goals (3), while also sitting tied for first in goals (6) and assists (6).

Making his debut with the Checkers at the end of last season, the former University of Denver standout recorded two assists in three regular season games and five points (2G, 3A) in seven Calder Cup Playoff games.

Shea Busch

The Panthers 2025 fourth-round pick (128th overall) has become friendly with the goal horn to start the season.

In 12 games, Busch has logged 18 points (13G, 5A) and a +13 plus/minus rating.

His 13 goals lead the Everett Silvertips and rank tied for tenth in the WHL.
