Among goalies to play at least 16 games this season, Wallstedt leads the NHL in high-danger save percentage, stopping 100 of 115 high-danger shots faced. The Wild rookie goalie, who is one half of an elite goalie tandem with Filip Gustavsson, leads the League in both overall save percentage (.928) and shutouts (four).

Wallstedt, who also leads qualified goalies in 5-on-5 save percentage (.940), an has a .900 or greater save percentage in 12 of his 16 starts this season, ranks third in the NHL in that category (75.0).

Hardest shot attempt: 103.03 miles per hour - Morgan Geekie (F, BOS)

Geekie reached the League's hardest shot for the Boston Bruins in the third period against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Nov. 11. In the hunt for the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy, Geekie ranks tied for second in the NHL in goals (25) behind Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche (34).

Geekie, who also had a 100.86 mph shot on Oct. 27, is one of four NHL players with multiple 100-plus mph attempts this season; the others are Winnipeg Jets defenseman Colin Miller, Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Louis Crevier (three each) and New York Islanders defenseman Ryan Pulock.

High-danger goals: 17 - Tyler Bertuzzi (F, CHI)

Bertuzzi scored a pair of high-danger goals for the Chicago Blackhawks against the Dallas Stars on Saturday, recapturing the NHL lead in that category. Bertuzzi has scored 17 of his 18 goals (in 36 games) this season from high-danger zones.

Matt Boldy of the Minnesota Wild is second with 16 high-danger goals, while Jake Guentzel of the Tampa Bay Lightning is third with 15. Guentzel has a League-leading 66 high-danger shots on goal after he finished highly in that same cateogry last season (114; tied for third).

Skating speed: 24.61 miles per hour - Connor McDavid (F, EDM)

McDavid reached his top skating speed of the NHL EDGE tracking era (since 2021-22) for the Edmonton Oilers in the second period against the Calgary Flames on Oct. 8, surpassing his previous high of 24.19 mph from the 2023-24 season.

The only top skating speed faster than McDavid's mark in the regular season or Stanley Cup Playoffs since 2021-22 was Miles Wood (24.82 mph) last season. McDavid leads the NHL in both 22-plus mph speed bursts (75) and 20-plus mph bursts (342) this season.
