      Nelson Reflects on Stadium Series at Yankee Stadium

      January 29, 1985: Bryan Trottier becomes the first Islander to record 1,000 points, scoring a pair of goals in a 4-4 tie against the Minnesota North Stars. Trottier reached 1,000 points in 726 games with 374 goals and 626 assists – becoming the 19th player in league history to the mark.
