Before we get to Radar's training, let's address one thing.
He's gotten really big!
Yes, the Islanders Puppy with a Purpose seems to be growing out of his puppy stage and into his purpose, which is becoming a guide dog to the visually impaired.

Radar's current training involves being exposed to loud noises and distracting situations. That's part of the reason why you see this good boy by the glass at Islanders warmups (apart from supporting the Isles).
Radar's puppy handlers, Jimmy and Lorin, took him for a loose leash walk around Target, focusing on avoiding distractions. The distractions start small, like leaves and paper, and Radar gets rewarded for making good decisions. By the end of the day, Radar was ignoring tempting squeaky toys, keeping his focus on Jimmy.
