Why did you decide to become a teacher? This is my 15th year teaching. I've always known that I wanted to be an educator. Since I was a young girl I would pretend to be a teacher and grade my friends' dittos that I had made for them. What is your favorite part of teaching? I'm a mom of two boys Christian aged 10 and Daniel 4 and I want to be the teacher I'd hope for them to have in their classroom. How else are you involved in your community? I tutor children in my own community in math by playing games that encourage and promote learning the standards. What is your favorite part of Future Goals & how are you using it in your classroom? My students were extremely engaged in the learning activities in the Future Goals program. Now when I watch hockey I think about the angle of the puck and the temperature of the ice when I never did before. Who is your favorite NHL® player? Anders lee because he is the heart of the team. If you played hockey, would you rather be the goalie or a goal scorer? Why? I would like to be a forward, I like to see possibilities where others do not see them and I'd like to imagine I could apply that to making goals. Favorite Movie?
