MONTREAL - Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Carey Price, Paul Byron, Chris Wideman, and other players were in the crowd for Canada's biggest event which saw a record number of attendees at 345,000 this year.
Canadian Grand Prix frenzy was felt all over town over the weekend. Luxury cars and fans from across the world wearing their favorite team's colors could be seen wherever you were in Montreal.
Some Habs players joined the party to see Max Verstappen finish in first place, followed by Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.
Spotted at the race were Price and his wife, Angela, along with Byron and his wife, Sarah. The two couples were rooting for Alonso, Lance Stroll, and the Aston Martin team.
Aston Martin's drivers finished in second and ninth, respectively, and may have benefited from some advice from Byron and his wife. The pair are both well-versed in the speed department: the Canadiens forward is known for his quick feet on the ice, while his wife comes from a family of NASCAR drivers.
Caufield showed up with his former teammates from the US National Development program, Jack Hughes and Trevor Zegras. The trio were also seen in the green colors of the English team.
Caufield, Price, and Byron took the time to reconnect for a photo.
Caufield was clearly making the rounds on race day as he was also seen alongside Wideman, who came back to town for the occasion.
Earlier in the week, team principal of Haas F1 Team Guenther Steiner visited the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard where he met Suzuki, Sam Montembeault, and Kaiden Guhle. A former netminder who hails from northern Italy, Steiner suited up in Habs goalie gear and was gifted a custom made goalie mask by the team.

Steiner's pit stop wasn't the first time an F1 personality paid the team a visit. The year before, Spanish driver and 2005 and 2006 world champion Alonso came to the Bell Centre to tour the team's facilities and get some shooting tips from Suzuki, Caufield and Anderson.
Other drivers who have collaborated with the Canadiens in the past include Valtteri Bottas, Stroll, and Nicholas Latifi.
