The Capitals will look to extend their winning streak to four games when they visit the New Jersey Devils tonight at Prudential Center. Tonight’s game marks the fourth and final meeting between the teams this season. Washington leads the season series 2-0-1 and has won two straight against New Jersey, including the most recent matchup on March 20 at Capital One Arena. The Capitals are 11-1-0 in their last 12 games at Prudential Center.

The Capitals have scored 17 goals in three games (5.67 GF/GP) since being shut out on March 24 at St. Louis. The Capitals have scored four or more goals in all three games and have scored multiple power-play goals in each of their last two contests. Washington is 26-0-1 when scoring four or more goals this season. The Capitals scored six goals on 18 shots on Tuesday vs. Philadelphia. It marked Washington’s highest offensive output on 18 or fewer shots since Jan. 19, 2017 (7-3 W at STL) (h/t Mike Vogel). Washington is 11-for-38 (28.9%) on the power play since March 1. The Capitals owned the NHL’s seventh-highest power-play percentage in March.
