Robo First Star of The Week Web - Nov 17

Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson has been named the NHL’s First Star of the Week the week ending November 16.

Robertson, who recorded three points in each of his three contests, led the NHL with six goals and nine points (6-3—9) to propel the Stars (12-4-3, 27 points) to a perfect week as they extended their winning streak to five games dating to Nov. 8. Robertson, who also posted a League-leading 19 shots on goal and shared second place with a +6 rating, opened the week with 1-2—3 (including the primary assist on Roope Hintz’s overtime winner) in a 3-2 comeback victory against the Ottawa Senators Nov. 11.

He followed that with 2-1—3 in a 7-0 win versus the Montreal Canadiens Nov. 13 before scoring his sixth career hat trick (as well as his 32nd career game-winning goal) in a 5-1 triumph over the Philadelphia Flyers Nov. 15. The 26-year-old Robertson ranks second on the Stars with 9-14—23 through 19 total appearances this season, also placing among the 2025-26 League leaders in shots on goal (2nd; 82), power-play points (t-5th; 11), power-play assists (t-6th; 7) and points (18th; 23). He is the third player in Dallas team history (since 1993-94) to register three consecutive three-point performances, joining Hintz (Feb. 28 – March 4, 2025: 2-9—11) and Jamie Benn (April 6-11, 2015: 5-5—10).

Robertson will look to become the first player in franchise history to notch four straight three-point games – as well as the first player from any team to achieve the feat since Nikita Kucherov from April 3-9, 2024 (1-11—12 in 4 GP w/ TBL) – when the Stars play host to the Islanders tomorrow, Nov. 18 (8 p.m. ET, Victory+, MSGSN2).

Detroit Red Wings right wing Alex DeBrincat and Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes were named the Second and Third Stars of the Week, respectively. The full release from the NHL can be found here.
