Scrolling Social: Olympian Megan Bozek joins Women of Teal celebration

On Saturday the Sharks hosted their annual Women of Teal game presented by Kaiser Permanente. In honor of the theme the Sharks spent the day with two-time Olympic silver medalist, Megan Bozek. 

First thing Saturday morning, the Sharks and Bozek were at Tech CU Arena hosting a girls' hockey clinic.

Prior the the game, Bozek sat on a panel with other women in the Sharks organization to talk about their careers and advice they have for other women. On the panel with her were: Ryann Thomison, sports nutritionist, Dr. Caitlin Rugg, Barracuda team doctor, and moderated by Tara Slone.

Bozek got the game started with the ceremonial puck drop. Between her and Mario Ferraro, it's not every day you have two defenseman on the faceoff dot.

A Sharks gameday wouldn't be complete without a visit to Dan Rusanowsky and Sharks Audio Network.

Bozek brought the good luck with her to Saturday's game and the Sharks won, 2-1!
