Illuminating the New York City skyline, Madison Square Garden draws over four million passionate sports and entertainment fans through its doors each year. "The World's Most Famous Arena" and The Theatre at Madison Square Garden occupy nearly 1,000,000 square feet in the heart of New York City and play host to more than 600 events. On February 11, 1968, the current Madison Square Garden opened its doors and has been creating irreplacable memories ever since.

On October 25, 2013, Madison Square Garden began a new chapter in its celebrated history, with the completion of its three-year Transformation. The unprecedented project, which required 2.6 million man hours of labor, touched every aspect of the Arena, significantly enhancing the experience customers, athletes, entertainers, suite holders and marketing partners, from the first row to the last.

The Transformed Garden ensures that the World's Most Famous Arena will continue to attract the historic, unforgettable events for which it has been known throughout its history, while also elevating the total customer experience. Patrons now have access to a full list of amenities including: improved sightlines; additional entertainment and dining options; new concourses; upgraded hospitality areas; new technology; and a completely transformed interior, which was carefully planned to maintain the unique intimacy of the Arena bowl and the Garden's world famous ceiling.
