Stars at AT&T Stadium

The Dallas Stars were out at AT&T Stadium on Monday, and they've already booked their return trip for 2027.

During the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals “Monday Night Football” game in Dallas, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman announced the venue will be hosting the 2027 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series, and Jamie Benn, Wyatt Johnston, Jason Robertson and Tyler Seguin were all on hand to hear the announcement and enjoy the football game.

The four players had some fun on the sidelines before the game, sharing what football position they would play had they pursued a different professional sport.

In a social media video posted by the Cowboys, Benn said he would play quarterback, Johnston said he’d play wide receiver and Seguin said linebacker or running back.

Robertson said tight end (then later changed his pick to kick holder).

“That’d be more realistic, maybe” he quipped.

The players also met with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones before the game and were featured on the big screen during the action.

The 2027 Stadium Series will be on Feb. 20, 2027, with an 8 p.m. ET puck drop on ABC. The Stars’ opponent will be named at a later date.
