Panthers celebrate cup

South Florida is happy the Florida Panthers are keeping the Stanley Cup for another year.

The Panthers received congratulations from all over social media after winning their second-straight Stanley Cup championship, defeating the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Tuesday.

Fellow South Florida sports teams, the Miami Marlins, Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat, were the first ones to give the Panthers shoutouts on social media after the win.

The Heat included a video of center Bam Adebayo hitting the drum before Game 3.

Adebayo also posted a congratulatory message to the Panthers on his social media.

Actor and huge Panthers fan, Josh Gad, took to his Instagram to celebrate the back-to-back Stanley Cups.

The Panthers admin was thrilled to type out the team had won Lord Stanley for the second year in a row.

Of course, they included a video of the Panthers bench reaction after clinching the win.

MLB congratulated Matthew Tkachuk and the Panthers with a picture of the forward throwing out the first pitch at a St. Louis Cardinals game.

Yet again, the party is just heating up in South Florida.
