matthews bedard awards split

The 2024 NHL Awards red carpet was as hot as the Las Vegas weather.

NHL Stars and celebrity presenters showed off their style at Fontainebleau Las Vegas on Thursday.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews opted for a pattern navy and white jacket instead of a traditional suit jacket.

Canadian music duo Loud Luxury, who performed at the Awards, were hoping to finally cross paths with Matthews. The Toronto Maple Leafs fans were also excited to bring the party to Vegas.

“Loud Luxury and the NHL go hand in hand,” the duo said. “If you can’t make it as an NHL player, much better to be their DJ. “

“Stranger Things” actor Gaten Matarazzo also sported a colorful jacket designed by KidSuper on the carpet. Matarazzo, a die-hard New York Rangers fan, was thrilled to present one of the biggest awards of the night.

“I’m super stoked I’m here because I’m a big fan of everybody here,” Matarazzo said. “This is a big ole hockey nerds dream come true.”

Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi and Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar sported light color suits. Josi wore light gray and Makar sported a beige one.

Goalies Thatcher Demko and Sergei Bobrovsky went the patterned route.

“My Life with the Walter Boys” actor Noah LaLonde was head-to-toe in Dolce Gabbana. The presenter, who grew up playing hockey, couldn’t wait to see all the NHL’s brightest stars.

“I’m excited [to see all the players],” LaLonde said. “Seeing people fulfill their dreams in front of you is a really special thing, so all the award winners.”

Chicago Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard chose a multi-color palette, wearing a maroon patterned jacket with black accents and black pants.

The stars definitely didn't disappoint with their fashion choices in Vegas.
