New Heights podcast split

The Kelce brothers are back at it with the hockey talk, and in the newest episode of their podcast “New Heights,” the football stars discussed an important hockey question:

Which NHL players, past or present, could make an NFL roster?

Without hesitation, Jason Kelce confidently says Eric Lindros could make an NFL team, most likely at tight end or even offensive line, and his brother Travis wholeheartedly agreed.

Jaromir Jagr, Claude Giroux and Connor McDavid also made the list.

Jason Kelce, who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, even shared a story about Giroux, saying the Philadelphia Flyers forward would go into the Eagles’ locker room and ask anyone to arm wrestle.

Finally, the brothers debated whether or not Wayne Gretzky could make it in the NFL. Originally, Jason Kelce says no, but Travis quickly changed his mind.

“Have you ever seen him race?” Travis asked his brother on the podcast. “It was him and three other professional athletes. … He’s not just beating them, he’s rolling them.”

Travis was referring to a running race in 1982 when Gretzky went head-to-head with Pele, Sugar Ray Leonard and Bjorn Borg in a 60-meter race. Once Jason saw the clip of that race, he changed his mind about Gretzky.

“Beating Pele, that’s something,” Jason said on the podcast. “You know what? I’m gonna say he could’ve done it.”
