Barkov, Tkachuk dance as ‘Sally’ during Role Model’s performance at 2026 Winter Classic

Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk don’t dance, unless they are with the Stanley Cup.

The injured Florida Panthers forwards and Lord Stanley joined Role Model during his first intermission performance at the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic at loanDepot park in Miami on Friday.

While the singer performed his hit song “Sally When the Wine Runs Out,” Barkov and Tkachuk came out on stage as the show’s “Sally” with the Stanley Cup in tow.

Role Model is known for bringing a famous guest on stage when he performs the hit song on tour.

Both Panthers stars earned a loud cheer from the crowd as they lifted the trophy over their heads and danced on stage.

Barkov has been out with a knee injury since September. Tkachuk has yet to play this season with a groin and shoulder injury.

Despite being sidelined, the two Panthers forwards didn’t disappear when the wine ran out.
