Travis Konecny said, “No skates,” and Brad Marchand said, “No problem.”

Marchand gave Konecny a lift to retrieve his medal after Canada defeated the United States 3-2 in overtime during the 4 Nations Face-Off championship game at TD Garden on Thursday.

The Philadelphia Flyers forward was dressed in a suit and dress shoes on the ice after being a healthy scratch during the tournament’s final.

After Konecny’s name was called during the medal ceremony, he hopped onto Marchand’s back and the Bruins captain skated him over so the forward could receive his medal.

The two Canadian forwards laughed at the silly moment.
