George Springer Team USA jersey

MLB star George Springer is one of the hockey guys in the Toronto Blue Jays’ clubhouse, and he showed it on Sunday.

Springer -- a Connecticut native -- celebrated Team USA’s gold medal victory over Team Canada in grand fashion, rocking the red, white and blue to his Spring Training facility in Dunedin, Florida.

The four-time All Star (who represents a Canadian baseball team) cheered loudly for the U.S. as he got ready to take some swings.

“We did it!” Springer yells. “The boys!”

He went on to take batting practice while wearing the Team USA sweater.

The United States won gold at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, downing Team Canada, 2-1, in overtime after forward Jack Hughes’ Golden Goal just 1:41 into the extra frame.

Goalie Connor Hellebuyck recorded 41 saves in the victory.

It’s Team USA’s first gold medal since the “Miracle on Ice” team in 1980.
