Kraken Defenseman Brandon Montour is of Mohawk descent and is one of 10 active players in the NHL who identifies as Indigenous. After winning the Stanley Cup with the Florida Panthers in 2024, Montour returned to his village in Six Nations, Canada to share the trophy with his community.
