RALEIGH, N.C. - The Carolina Hurricanes became the first Eastern Conference team to solidify their spot in the 2026 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs on Thursday, with their 5-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Marking an eighth consecutive postseason appearance, Rod Brind'Amour has led the team to victory in at least one round during each of its previous seven trips. Three of the seven runs have led to the Eastern Conference Final.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs begin the weekend of April 18-19.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 9 at 12 p.m. ET. Season Ticket Members will receive access to a presale on April 8 at 12 p.m. ET.

The Canes have sold out 156 consecutive games at Lenovo Center, which dates back to the 2022-23 season. Fans are encouraged to act quickly as access to Canes 2026 Playoff tickets is expected to be limited.
