New Jersey has placed forward Evgenii Dadonov on the Injured Reserve list. The Devils have recalled forward Brian Halonen from Utica of the American Hockey League.
Dadonov, 36, suffered a hand injury in the club’s season opener in Carolina on Thursday night. Imaging showed a fracture.
Halonen, 26 appeared in two games last year with New Jersey. He spent most of the year with Utica, scoring a team-best 27 goals and adding 40 points with a plus-9.
