BROSSARD – Wednesday’s practice was optional for the Canadiens, but you’d never guess who showed up anyway.

Lane Hutson.

Fresh off his second consecutive three-assist performance against the Florida Panthers, the rookie defenseman—who never skips an optional skate—was back at work at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard.
